Joseph Daniel Brokob, 81, Neosho, MO entered into rest August 8, 2019. He was born June 20, 1938 in Nevada, MO to Albert and Pearl Rose Brokob.
Joseph served in the US Army, then later worked in maintenance for La-Z-Boy in Neosho. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team; loved his family; enjoyed western movies; and joking around and making people laugh.
Joseph and Myra June Neighbors were married July 23, 1985 in Miami, OK; she preceded him in death on September 9, 2012.
He is survived by two daughters, Myra Sharp and husband, Brian, and Joeanna Brokob, all of Neosho; one brother, Bill Brokob and wife, Tamara of Girard, KS; two sisters, Dorothy Burns of Joplin, MO and Emma Hartman of Nevada, MO; and one granddaughter, Draven Sharp of Neosho.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myra; and five siblings.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO with Dr. Jerry Seigel officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery, Neosho. A time of visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. In honor of Mr. Brokob, contributions may be made to Missouri Veteran’s Home, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
