John Bickett

John Paul Bickett, 34, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on November 12, 2019 from heart failure. Tulsa authorities failed to notify his family of his death until December 3, 2019.

John was the son of John Thomas Bickett and Anne Patterson Doyle. He was preceded in death by his father in 2006.

John is survived by his mother, sisters Laura Zurita of Broken Arrow, OK, Amy Bickett of Plano, TX, his stepfather, Jim Doyle, several uncles including Mark Patterson, M.D.,PhD, of Roanoke, VA and Michael Patterson, DDS of Joplin,MO, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the grandson of Dr.and Mrs. Donald R.Patterson, M.D.








John had a free spirit and a brave heart. He was kind to strangers and walked softly through his day. John endured more pain and tragedy with grace in his beautiful short life, than most of us could ever imagine. He courageously battled a multitude of health problems, all while helping others plagued with loneliness and grief. He enjoyed playing the guitar,singing, skate boarding, eating Little Debbie's in the middle of the night and pestering his sisters. John worked on several major construction projects in the Tulsa area. A deep hole will ache in the hearts of many. John will be deeply missed. He had a beautiful soul.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Joplin Mo on December 13, 2019 at 10:00 am followed by a grave site service at IOOF cemetery in Neosho, MO.
