Shelly Wooldridge

Mrs. Shelly Renee Sullivan-Wooldridge, 55, of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday morning, March 11th, 2020 surrounded by family.

Shelly entered this life on June 29, 1964, in Phoenix, Arizona, born to the union of Clarence and Carolyn (Goade) McGinnis. She was raised in Joplin, Missouri and was a graduate of Memorial High School. She was secretary at Webb City Housing Authority, a career she dearly loved for thirty four years, making long lasting friendships with many of her tenants.

She along with her husband Jack were Kansas City Chiefs season ticket holders, never missing a game for over twenty years. They loved entertaining and having their friends and family over. She enjoyed putting her green thumb to use in her garden, flea markets, garage sales and auctions. She leaves behind her contagious laugh, smile and beautiful memories with friends and family.








She was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, Jack Wooldridge on September 21, 2018.

Shelly is survived by her daughter, Zoe (Alex) Lambert, of Galena, Kansas; her mother, Carolyn Johnson of Duenweg, Missouri; a brother, Zach (Kara) Johnson of Frisco, Texas; and two nieces, Sofie and Emma.

Graveside funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri with Pastor Randy Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
