Ruthie Logston

(From Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home)

Ruthie (Dink) Dee Logston, born Ruthie Dee Kraft, passed away on April 5, 2020, at her parents' home.

Ruthie was born on March 4, 1967, at Stormmontbell Hospital in Topeka, KS, to Patsy and David Kraft. She grew up in Wichita, KS, with her two sisters, her mother, and stepfather, Bob Greenstreet.

She attended Jardine School where she met her first husband, Allen Lane, and had her three children. Later in life she met her second husband, Mike Hosner, and adopted another son. After her second husband passed away, she moved to El Dorado Springs, MO, where she met and married the love of her life, Joseph Logston.

Ruthie was a very loving and outgoing person. She cared deeply about her family and loved to spend time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoying life.

Ruthie is survived by her parents, Bob and Patsy Greenstreet, of El Dorado Springs, MO, and David and Iris Kraft of OK; her husband, Joseph Logston of Camdenton, MO; her siblings Shannan Kohman of El Dorado, KS, and Doddy and Stephen Trotter of El Dorado Springs, MO; her children: Greg Lane of Carthage, MO, Misty and Luke Miller of Nevada, MO, Amber Lane of Wichita, KS, and Michael Hosner of Sacramento, CA; her stepchildren: Tammy, Vicki, Bill, and Marissa; and nine grandchildren: Mia Fastdog-Lane and Hudson Lane, Alex and Michael Miller, Daniel, Orian, Chloe, Sapherya, and Aryana Lane.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents who helped raise her, Bob and Doris Stroer, and Clarence and Catherine Greenstreet. She had many aunts, uncles, and cousins that she held close to her heart.

She was known to many people by many names and played many roles in their lives: Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. What she loved most was being a Namma. She loved her grandchildren and spoiling them. By all that loved and knew her best she was always known as Mom, Dink, or Namma. She will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

A celebration of Dink’s life will be announced at a later date.
