Barbara Sheridan

Barbara Ann Sheridan, age 67, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.

Barbara was born October 19, 1952 in Joplin, daughter of the late Barney Dickson and Wanda Lou Smith Gooch. She grew up in Joplin, attending Joplin Schools, and Parkwood High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. There wasn't a stranger to her name, she enjoyed getting out and about, and befriending anyone in her path. Her smile was infectious and will be greatly missed by so many. She also will continue to see everything you're doing!

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Gooch.

Barbara leaves behind to remember her love, Larry Sheridan of Joplin; son, Dustin Dickson (Reaka Peters) of Joplin; daughters, Kimberly Ann Rea (Justin) and Stephanie Dawn Stewart (Josh) all of Duenweg; grandchildren, Abby Rea of Duenweg, Aron Hembree and Amy Hembree both of Joplin; brother, Gary Moon (Brenda) of Neosho; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Forest Park Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Kingery officiating, and family serving as pallbearers.
