Julie Ellis

Julie Ann Ellis, 47, of Carterville, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Mercy Hospital with her family by her side.

Julie was born on January 4, 1973 in Joplin, Missouri, to the union of Bob and Judy (Divine) Miller. She was a 1991 graduate of Joplin High School. 

On July 3, 1993 she was united in marriage to Jerry Edwin Ellis, II. Together they happily shared twenty-seven years. Julie was a devoted loving wife and mother. 

Julie is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home; son, Shane Michael Ellis; parents, Bob and Judy Miller, all of Carterville; brother Bobby Miller (Nicole) of Joplin; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Ellis, of Reeds; two sister-in-law’s, Edwina Parrigon (Leslie), of Stotts City, and April Conway (Ryan) of Sarcoxie; nieces, Julianne Miller, Krissy DeFries, Addie DeFries, Emma Parrigon and Reese Conway; nephews, Cory Miller, Chance Miller, Chris Parrigon, Jared Parrigon and Davin Conway; as well as a host of other family and friends.
