Nancy Richardson

Nancy Lynn Richardson (née Parker), age 79, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri.

Born on October 24, 1946, in Parsons, Kansas, Nancy was the daughter of Eugene and Ruth Parker. She pursued her passion for education at Pittsburg State University, where she earned a degree in elementary education. 

Following graduation, she began her professional life as a dedicated teacher in Cherryvale, Kansas, where she taught for five years.








Nancy's life journey took many meaningful turns. After her time in the classroom, she embarked on a unique adventure as a coast-to-coast truck driver alongside her husband, Caridyne Richardson. For nine years, they traveled the highways together, sharing both the road and their lives. Later, Nancy brought her warm smile and kind spirit to Walmart, where she worked as a cashier and greeter for another nine years.

A woman of deep faith and devotion, Nancy was an active member of Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ. Her love for Jesus was evident in all aspects of her life, especially in her joy for teaching others about Him. Her spiritual commitment was a guiding light that touched many who knew her.

Nancy also had a profound love for animals and cared deeply for all her many pets throughout the years. They brought her comfort and companionship and held a special place in her heart.








She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Caridyne Rickardson; her parents Eugene and Ruth Parker; and her brothers Dick Parker, Larry Parker, and nephew Ricky Parker. She also mourned the loss of several cherished pets over the years.

Nancy is remembered with love by several nieces and nephews who carry forward the legacy of kindness and strength she embodied.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2025, at 02:00 PM at Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ 1111 Rocketdyne Road, Neosho, MO

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
