Marsha Lynn Bacon, age 52, of Webb City, Mo. went home to be with her Heavenly Father at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3,2015 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.. Marsha was born August 21, 1962 in Rushville, Indiana. She was a graduate of Eastbrook High School in Marion, Indiana and attended Cincinnati Bible College. She came to the Joplin area in 2004 when she began working for Good News Productions International in Joplin. She was the Communications Coordinator and loved her job and Good News Family. Marsha was active at the Wellspring Church in Webb City and was involved in the worship ministry.
Marsha is survived by her parents, Paul and Norma Bacon, Upland, Indiana, one brother, David Bacon and his wife Rebecca, Ligonier, Indiana, two sisters, Diane Church and her husband Greg, Warsaw, Indiana, and Corinna Bacon, Upland, Indiana, and her special friends, Carrie Volrath, Irene Davis, Tom Nutt, and Mike Schrage.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Wellspring Church, 2424 N. Main St. Webb City, Mo with Pastor Scott Smith, Tom Nutt, Mike Schrage, and Phil Mehrens officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Good News Productions International (GNPI) in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
