Donald R. Loudermilk, 75, Diamond, died March 29, 2015 at his home following an illness.
Don was born January 22, 1940 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Robert and Elna (Hooker) Loudermilk. He lived most of his life in this area. Don served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated Don’s 24 Hour Wrecker Service since 1984. He was a Diamond Police Reserve Officer for 9 years and was an avid fisherman.
Don married Pearl Mahurin on April 7, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma, and she survives. Also surviving are one brother, Bob Loudermilk of Joplin; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son, Donny Loudermilk on July 17, 2010.
Services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of God in Granby, Ashley Edgemon will officiate.
