Johnny Bevis

Johnny Allen Bevis, 79, Neosho, died October 3, 2015 at Seneca House, following a lengthy illness. 

Johnny was born April 16, 1936 in San Bruno, California, the son of John A. and Mae L. (Adams) Bevis. He moved to southwest Missouri in 1955 from California and had worked as a meat cutter in the retail grocery business. He enjoyed remote control airplanes and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Neosho. 

Johnny is survived by four sons, Jim Bevis and wife, Julie of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Matt Bevis of Neosho; Joe Bevis and wife, Kelly of Neosho and Mike Bevis and wife, Cindy of Neosho; one sister, Lee Bass and husband, Gene of Webb City; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and the mother of his children, Ila Osborn Haggard of Neosho.
