Brad Austin McReynolds, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, Ca. after a short illness. He was 29.
Brad was born on January 20, 1986 in Joplin, Mo. to Frank and Roberta (Carns) McReynolds. He spent his entire childhood in Joplin and graduated from Joplin High School in 2004. Brad was baptized by his father at a young age and was a member of Mt. Hope Church of Christ in Joplin. In 2009, Brad moved to San Diego, Ca. He earned an Associate Degree from ITT Tech and was working for a technology company at the time of his death.
It was in California that Brad met the love of his life, Lindsay Wilcox, who became his fiancé. In addition to Lindsay, Brad is survived by his parents, Frank and Roberta McReynolds of Joplin; a brother, Scott and his wife Stefanie of Fayetteville, Ar.; 2 nephews, Logan and Caleb of Fayetteville; his future in-laws, Tony and Sandi Delap of Spring Valley, Ca. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services were held in Escondido, Ca. on November 17, 2015. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Mt. Hope Church of Christ. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Bona Cemetery in Bona, Mo. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Friday from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hope Church of Christ Youth Ministry or the Marfan Foundation in care of the mortuary.
