Marie A Heidlage, age 94 of Pierce City, MO died on 11/10/15 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Mrs. Heidlage was born on December 9, 1920. She was the daughter of Joseph & Matilda (Gripka) Fenske. Marie was married to Ralph W. Heidlage on August 20, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was a homemaker and housewife working with her husband on the farm. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and taught Religion classes in prior years.
Surviving are the following: five sons, John & wife Kathy of Pierce City, Kenneth & wife Peggy of Granby, Thomas & wife Monta of Pierce City, Mark & wife Sally of Pierce City, and Dennis & wife Leah of Pierce City; one daughter, Mary & husband Ralph Abramovitz of Wentworth; two brothers, Edmund Fenske of Belton, MO and Lawrence & wife Agnes Fenske of Springfield. Mrs. Heidlage was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Fenske, and one sister, Sister Josephine Fenske.
Mrs. Heidlage has fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Casey William Heidlage, and one granddaughter, Joni Michelle Heidlage.
The family will receive friends at St. Agnes Church on the Sarcoxie Prairie on Friday, November 13, 2015. Rosary will be 6:30 PM with visitation to follow until 8:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Agnes Church on the Sarcoxie Prairie on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Father Peter J. Morcineic officiating. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
