Patti June Lilly, age 82, of Lamar, MO, passed Friday, October 30, 2015 at Barton County Memorial Hospital.
On June 2, 1933, Patti was born to J.D. Horton and Hazel (Webb) Horton at Kiowa, KS. She was a graduate of Lamar High School 1951. She was married to Max Lilly on April 5, 1953 and together they raised two daughters. She and Max owned and operated Lilly’s Department Store in Lamar for 25 years. She enjoyed cross stitch, scrapbooking, sewing for her two children and bowling on a league, but she loved and was so proud of her grandchildren. Patti was a member of Lamar United Methodist Church.
Patti leaves behind two daughters, Debbie (Terry) Quick of Springfield, MO and Lisa Blanchard and friend Jorge of Lavista, NE; grandchildren, David Blanchard of Baton Rouge, LA, Aimee (Adam) Shelton, Bartlesville, OK, Melanie Blanchard, Baton Rouge, LA and Lauren Quick of Chicago, IL; and three great grandchildren, Ian, Ava and Max Shelton of Bartlesville, OK.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Max Lilly on August 8, 2015; her parents and two brothers, Emmett Horton and Bob Horton.
Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Daniel Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Lake Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 1:00 until service time, Saturday at the funeral home.
