William Irvin "Bill" Cook, age 66, Joplin, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his home with family at his side.
Bill was born December 16, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas, and grew up in Joplin and graduated from Joplin High School before attending college. He worked for years with Smith Color, and most recently was owner/operator of Heartland Tree Service in Joplin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin William Cook and Marjorie Wilson Cook.
Survivors include Cheryl Burton of the home; children, Stacy Vicory of Carl Junction, Missouri, Kandice Moran of Webb City, Missouri, Eric Brendon Cook and wife Cindy of Neosho, Missouri, and Travis Cook of Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. Private family services will be at a later date.
