James “Jimbo” Holley, age 71, of Joplin, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 following a short illness.
He was born July 3, 1944 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Robert and Evelyn (Rossman) Holley.
James was a lifetime area resident. He worked for Eagle Picher Industries for over 25 years retiring in 2010 as a precious metals supervisor. He was the proud owner of a “Starsky” car. He enjoyed participating in several and watching all sports. Jim enjoyed the stock car races, bowling and was a member of the 300 club. He loved his family, his friends and the Lord. Anyone that knew Jim loved him, he was a people person.
He is survived by two brothers, Randy Holley, Richard Baldridge, both of Joplin, Missouri; one sister, Tammy (Calie) Holley-Daniell, Joplin, Missouri; eight nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
