Mark Baker, 57, of Carthage passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Missouri.
Mark was born on January 6, 1959 in Carthage, Missouri to William C. “Bill” Baker and Dolores “Alumbaugh” Baker. He was a lifetime resident of Carthage. Mark owned and operated Prime Time Signs in Carthage, MO and he was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.
He was united in marriage to Debby White March 24, 1984 at the Jasper Christian Church in Jasper, Missouri. She survives. Additional survivors include one brother, Jon Baker (Lee) of Huntsville, AL; two brother-in-laws, Dan White (Rhonda) and Linn White (Becky); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Nancy White of Jasper, Missouri; five nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Craig Baker.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday evening, April 29, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Team in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
