Bob Oliver

Robert Lee “Bob” Oliver, 82, Neosho, MO passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019.

 Bob was born August 2, 1936 in Eskridge, KS, the son of Robert and Velma (Kitt) Oliver. He graduated from Maple Hill High School. He served in the US Army National Guard as Military Police. He worked as a ranch hand, pipeline laborer, and retired as a truck driver. Bob was a member of the Maple Hill Congregational Church and Kansas Quarter Horse Association.

Survivors include two sisters, Roberta (Paul) Artzer and Cheryl (Wally) Schrempp; three daughters, Nan (Bill) Lloyd, Crys (Eric) Bohn, and Suzie Oliver; two grandchildren, Jessica (Levi) Addington and Derick Bohn; one great grandchild, Dalton Addington; two step grandchildren, Alyssa and Makenna Addington; two step sons, Roy (Joi) Christians and Daniel (Dianne) Christians; and step grandchildren, David Christians, Laura Christians, Jacob Christians, Brittany Anne Christians, and Joshua Christians. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Larry Oliver.



Graveside services will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 am, with a Celebration of Life to follow at Maple Hill Parish Hall, 104 4th St, Maple Hill, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Robert L. Oliver c/o Stockgrowers State Bank, Maple Hill, KS.
