Norma Lea Lemaster, age 92, of Pierce City, MO entered into rest on Monday, January 07, 2019, at her home near Pierce City, MO. Norma was born in Newton County, MO on Thursday, December 09, 1926; the daughter of Charles Lee and Donna (Landreth) York. She married Ferris Collins Lemaster on Saturday, February 13, 1943, in Fairview, MO and he preceded her in death on July 8 ,2010.
Mrs. Lemaster was a lifelong area resident. She attended Ross School, Jolly School and graduated from Midway High School. She worked as a telephone operator for the Pierce City and Granby telephone companies.
Surviving are the following: her son, Bill (Anga) Lemaster of Ritchey, MO; one daughter, Sharon Lemaster of Ashland, OR; one sister, Carolyn (Lewis) Marion of Ritchey, MO; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lemaster was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon York.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Clear Creek Cemetery, west of Pierce City, with Tommy Blair officiating. The family will receive friends at Ritchey Baptist Church after the graveside services. No visitation is planned.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City, MO.
