John Wheeler

John David Wheeler, age 13, of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 24, 2019, in Joplin, Missouri.

John was born October 17, 2005, in Branson, Missouri, to the union of Ray and Mary (Soloman) Wheeler. He resided in Galena, Missouri, for most of his lifetime and recently relocated to Carl Junction, where he attended Carl Junction Junior High in start of his 8th grade year.

John had a large circle of friends. He always enjoyed truly being a kid and playing outside. He was loved tremendously by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his father, Ray Wheeler.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Wheeler, of the home; his brother, David Wheeler (Samantha) of Springfield, Missouri; his sister, Melinda Wheeler, of Cassville, Missouri; his aunt, Rachel Moore, of Cassville; and his uncle, Jim Moore, of Carl Junction; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside funeral services for John will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
