Lucy Joyce Haas, 78, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Lucy entered this life on September 27, 1941 in Ridgley, Missouri, born to the late Hershel Clifton and Edna Bell (Mullins) Launius. She married Robert Eugene Haas, Sr. on March 21, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. Lucy enjoyed fishing, crocheting and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ina Hodson; son, Floyd Haas and a brother, Ray Launius.

Lucy is survived by her husband, Robert Haas of the home; son, Robert E. Haas, Jr. and wife, Christina of Loves Park, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Malonia Haas of Noel, Missouri; siblings, Chester Launius of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Wilma Vantrease of Pineville, Missouri, Karen Terry of Michie, Tennessee, Linda Thurman of Granby, Missouri, Teena Bailey of Stella, Missouri, Penny K. Russell of Shawneetown, Illinois, Tom Launius of Stella, Missouri. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Lucy.

Graveside Funeral Services for Lucy will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Burial will follow the service in the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
