Mark Anthony Brown, 74, of Purdy passed away on Monday May 4, 2020 surrounded by his family at home following a short illness. He was born in Butterfield, Missouri on May 16, 1945; the son of the late Carl and Ella Mae Brown.
He married Glenna Ruth Brown on September 21, 1963; she survives.
To this union they were blessed with three children: Tammy Starchman(Gary), Larry Brown(Mickie) and Travis Brown(Jennifer), also surviving are eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He spent 22 years of his life in the grocery business before ending his working career at Wells Aluminum in Monett. He also enjoyed playing ball with his grandchildren.

Mark is also survived by one brother: Mike Brown (Sharon) of Goodman, Missouri; one sister: Carla Eden of Cassville, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Bill Brown and one sister Norma Harris.
Visitation for Mark is being held on Thursday May 7, 2020 from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Private burial for Mark will be at a later date.
The family would like to specially thank Hospice Compassus for all of their care and comfort.
Memorial donations for Mark may be made to the Purdy High School Baseball.
