Glenna Ledford

(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)

Glenna L. Ledford, age 44 of Joplin, Mo. passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her home following an illness.

Glenna was born on August 30, 1975 in Carthage, Mo., the daughter of Frank and Mylinda (Renfroe) Ledford. She has been a lifetime area resident, and worked for Ledford Construction and was an event worker for XO and Guitars in Joplin.

Glenna enjoyed spending time with family and friends on her beloved patio of an evening, hosting and cooking way too much food for impromptu get-togethers, bartending, celebrating the
4th of July, and most of all being extremely generous.

Glenna would be best described as thoughtful, selfless, and helpful. She was kind to most, blunt
to all, and always ready to have a good time. All that said, Glenna was the most loyal to her
family, friends, and her Dallas Cowboys. She was not quiet, a hugger, or a morning person.
Glenna was impactful to an entire community, very funny, and loved by all who knew her.
She married David Clevenger on October 2, 2016, he survives.

Additional survivors include her father; Frank Ledford, three sons; Tyler Slawter of Atlanta, Ga., Clay Connett of Joplin, Brayden Connett of Joplin, three daughters; Phylicia Clevenger of Joplin, Chelsea Clevenger and husband Zach Bottoroff of Joplin, Myleah Clevenger of Joplin, one sister; Frankie Weibel and husband Ben of Joplin, three brothers, James Ledford and wife Susan, Lance Ledford and wife Jacque,
and Travis Ledford and wife Jalyn, all of Joplin, three grandchildren; Miles Sommers, Elise Bottoroff and Levi Bottoroff. Glenna was preceded in death by her mother, Mylinda Ledford, Husband, Darren Connett, and
Niece, Nellie Ledford.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the
Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo. The
family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at the
funeral home.
