James Holesapple

(From Parker Mortuary)

James Albert Jeffrey Holesapple, age 81, Joplin, passed away at 1:34 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at his home.

James was born February 27, 1939 in West Plains, Missouri, to the late Elmer Holesapple and Louise Green Holesapple.

His job as a self-employed over the road truck driver allowed him to see many things that the country has to offer. He most recently worked with Bennett Trucking before retiring. In retirement, James got to spend some much-cherished time working alongside his son at Derin’s Auto Body.

James enjoyed spending time with family and loved riding his motorcycles. The time spent on the open road with his son, grandsons and friends are memories he cherished. James always said that family was the most important thing in life. He is now at peace, enjoying being together again with his wife in heaven, watching over their family.

He is survived by several family members and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
