Naomi "June" Kimbrough, age 77, passed away on April 30, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1946, in Hobart, OK, to Johnny and Opal (Yelvington) Shelton. June was a vibrant soul who touched many lives throughout her journey.

June graduated from Parkwood High School and pursued a career in healthcare, earning a degree that led her to work as a phlebotomist at Freeman Heart Center. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her warmth and kindness to all she encountered.

In addition to her healthcare career, June worked at various places including Cardinal Scales, Leggett & Platt, Consumers, and Walmart. She also found joy in coaching her daughter's softball team, blending her love for sports and nurturing spirit effortlessly.

Beyond work and sports, June had a zest for life. She enjoyed shopping excursions, the thrill of the casino, and cherished moments spent in the pool or tending to her yard.

Naomi was married to the love of her life, Wayne Kimbrough, on June 21, 1976, in Miami, OK. They shared 47 years together, and he survives her. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

June is also survived by her daughters Tina Kimbrough and Kimberli, of Joplin, MO, and Cyndy Bailey of Sarcoxie, MO. She was a loving grandmother to Christopher Bailey, Aaron Bailey, and Canyon Kimbrough. June is also survived by her brother Kenneth Shelton and wife Ruth Ann of Galena, KS.

June was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and one son Barry Don Bailey. Her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date to honor June's remarkable journey and the memories she created with everyone whose lives she touched.
