Charlotte Philliber

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Born Charlotte Ann Drake on January 7, 1943, to Harold Drake and Zella (Earhart) Drake and was the youngest of six siblings, Reba Ferguson, Audrey Ferguson, Gerald Drake, Delpha Merriman and Vivian Camerer. She entered into rest on September 19, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 81.

She is survived by sister, Vivian Camerer, children, Vickey Berry and husband, Roger Berry and their children and grandchildren, Patrick Philliber and wife, Tammy and their children and grandchildren and Mysty Isenberg and husband, Albert Isenberg.

She married George Philliber, who passed away on June 25th, 2020. They celebrated and enjoyed sixty years of marriage.

Charlotte was a strong, beautiful person that took care of everyone and was called 'mom' by many. Always ready to lend a helping hand, feed and clothe a stranger, or take in a stray. She was a loving and caring wife, always standing by George's side through thick and thin. As a mother, she was a caring, patient teacher, who was always there, no matter the trouble, but was also strong and fair in discipline. Charlottes' strength was nothing short of miraculous. At one point, she worked as a CNA at a nursing home with a second job at a steel mill, all while taking care of a farm and her children, which extended well beyond her own. To this day, we do not know how she managed it. We just know our mother, Charlotte was a very king, inspirational and courageous woman.

Private family services will be held.
