Kim McClintock

Kim Wayne McClintock, age 64, of Purdy, Missouri, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born October 17, 1959 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of loving parents, Wayne and Helen (Pugh) McClintock. On August 23, 1990 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he was united in marriage to his devoted wife of 34 years, Lisa Vance, who survives.






 

Also surviving are four sons, Shannon McClintock and his wife Emily of Pittsburg, Kansas, Trevor McClintock of Kansas City, Missouri, Austin McClintock and his wife Aubree of Granby, Missouri and Jeremy McClintock and his wife Jennifer of Georgetown, Texas; five grandchildren, Caroline, Archer, Collin, Alex and Paige; four cherished granddogs, Axel, Oakley, Gunner and Zoey and his beloved, constant companion, Bourbon.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

A lifelong farmer, he enjoyed working ground and working with his hands. Kim instilled a deep love of the land and nature in his sons, shaping their lives with the values of hard work and dedication, He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering support, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. Kim enjoyed watching Mizzou basketball and football, Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who celebrate his life and legacy that he leaves behind. He was of the Methodist faith.








A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. A private graveside service will be held at Paradise Cemetery in Jasper, Missouri at a later date.

Contributions may be made to Cassville FFA in memory of Kim.
