Brice Warren

(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)

Brice Edward Warren passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 53. Brice was born in Joplin, Missouri on March 15, 1971. Brice grew up in Carl Junction with his mother, Marilyn Long (nee Warren), stepfather Garry Long, who he always regarded as his own father, and brother, Torrey Rickey. Brice graduated from Carl Junction High school in 1989.

After high school, Brice decided to take his strong work ethic to a first-year automotive paint business. While working there for around three decades, his friendly personality helped him make many great relationships with customers and coworkers alike. His sociability was recognized by many, and he never met a stranger.

Brice loved coming up with games and playing them with his children. His creativity could turn even a boring situation into a time of imagination, fun, and laughter. Brice also enjoyed many activities in life that he didn’t have to come up with. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, play card and board games, and play sports with his sons.

Brice prided himself on smoking some of the best meats you could eat. He spent many hours meticulously seasoning, monitoring, and adding touches of this and that until everything came out just right. Brice loved seeing his friends and family enjoy his flavorful food and would eagerly start planning what delicious meat he was going to smoke next.

Brice was preceded in death by his parents, Marilyn and Garry Long. He is survived by his sons, Nakoa Warren and Ky Warren, and brother, Torrey Rickey. Brice is also survived by many other friends and family.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Carl Junction community center Friday, October 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to celebrate and remember Brice’s time with us. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
