(From Derfelt Funeral Chapel)Shirley Ann Runyon, age 88 of Quapaw, OK passed from this life on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Quaker Hill Skilled Nursing Facility, Baxter Springs, KS.
Shirley was born July 3, 1936 in Howell, Michigan to Frank Martin Breningstall and Eva Ola (Nichols) Breningstall.
She was united in marriage to Timothy Joe Runyon, who preceded her in death on November 4, 2024.
She is survived by children, Kathy Hunt (and son in law Chris) from Neosho, MO, Connie Molberg (and son in law Eric) from Reedsburg, WI, Linda Runyon and (son in law Steve Rader) from Crossville, TN, Sherry Harrison from Joplin, MO, Tim Runyon (and daughter in law Tammy) from Webb City, MO, Diana Hartman (and son in law Steve) from Miami, OK, and Erick Runyon from Joplin, MO. Also surviving Shirley are 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Shirley has been entrusted to Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel for cremation. Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
