(From Parker Mortuary)Katherine R. Carver, age 77 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 11, 2025 following a short illness. Kathy was born March 17, 1948 in Joplin to the late Ralph and Malinda (Smith) Kruger.
Kathy graduated Joplin Senior High with the class of 1966 and later attended trade school for electronics. Kathy was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved reading, sewing and most importantly, shopping with family. Throughout the years, Kathy worked in the hospitality field. She will be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving soul.
Those left to mourn her passing include a daughter, Libby Duncan and husband, Phil of Joplin; grandchildren, Amber Harrison and Mary Pace; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Olive, and Clyde.
Other than her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Kruger.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
