(From Carson-Wall Funeral Home)Lori A. (Lansdowne) Bowman, 63, of Frontenac and formerly of Parsons, passed away at 2:36 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born on August 13, 1961 in Parsons to Sharon Lansdowne. Lori grew up in Parsons and graduated from Parsons High School. She moved to Frontenac in the early 2000’s.
Lori enjoyed playing Bingo and card games, sitting around a firepit with friends, listening to the oldies especially old rock and country music and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Lansdowne and his wife, Amber of Joplin; granddaughter, Leah Smith of Pittsburg; her mother, Sharon Grant of Spring Hill; brother, Tony Grant and his wife, Amber of Olathe; sister, Christina Pierce of Spring Hill; nieces and nephews, Braden Grant and his wife, Maia, Kylie Grant, LaKeal Pierce, Akasha Pierce and Jacques Ford; and five great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Lansdowne and her grandparents, James and Reola Lansdowne.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Lansdowne and his wife, Amber of Joplin; granddaughter, Leah Smith of Pittsburg; her mother, Sharon Grant of Spring Hill; brother, Tony Grant and his wife, Amber of Olathe; sister, Christina Pierce of Spring Hill; nieces and nephews, Braden Grant and his wife, Maia, Kylie Grant, LaKeal Pierce, Akasha Pierce and Jacques Ford; and five great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025 at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Friday. Burial will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
