(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Robert David Pittman, 79, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Carthage, Missouri. Robert was born April 22, 1946, in Rolla, Missouri to James David Pittman and Elizabeth Loutisha Jones. Robert was a lifetime resident of Carthage, Missouri. He worked various jobs before working for Gary Denney as a farm hand for 20 years.
Robert is survived by three brothers, James R. Pittman, Jerry Pittman and wife, Sandy, and Tom Pittman and wife, Judy Kay.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents James and Elizabeth Pittman; a brother, Donnie Pittman; his sister, Laura Joan Pittman; and a sister-in-law, Bobby Pittman.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple of Carthage, Missouri in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
