(From Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services)Carlas J. Carrender, 61, of Mary's Home, MO, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 5, 1964, the son of Billy Joe Carrender and Pinkie Bias Carrender, both of whom preceded him in death.
Carlas was a graduate from Eugene High School. He then went to work in the Construction and Foundation business working as a foreman for Heidbreder Foundation Service. He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, woodworking, the outdoors and his beloved dogs, Gunner and Sassy.
Carlas is survived by his wife Deborah (Jewell) Carrender who survives of the home; step son, William Harper of the home; 3 step daughters, Althea Stewart of the home, Jennifer Perkins of Webb City, MO, Cassie Gerstner of Springfield, MO; 2 sisters, Sheryl Moser (Steve) of Jamestown, MO and Charlotte Carrender of O'Fallon, MO; nephews, Keegan Brower, Korbin Brower, and Wes Steenburgen; 3 stepbrothers, Kim Steenburgen, Ivor Steenburgen and Butch Steenburgen all of Henley, MO; stepsister, Beth Steenburgen of Eldon, MO; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Carlas was known for his many names, Husband, Dad, Gpa, brother, uncle, friend and widely known as Half Moon.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, MO.
