Linda Schmitt, 66, of Carthage, MO, passed away peacefully on 05/31/2025. Linda was born on 08/26/1958 in Albany, NY.

Linda is survived by her daughters Lynn, Marie, Brandy and 10 grandchildren.

Linda was a mother and waitress before retiring. She had a passion for reading, gambling at the casino and sci-fi movies. She enjoyed rock & roll music and going out to dinner with family. She also had a love for animals which caused her to sweet talk her daughter's in adopting many an animal. She was loved by all who knew her.

A private celebration of life will be held on July 4th, 2025 . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local animal shelters in Linda's honor.

The family would like to thank all those who have supported them during this difficult time. Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
