Curt Hymer

Curt Hymer passed away at his home on July 4th, 2025 at the age of 73. Born Sept 5, 1951 to Harold Hawkins Hymer and Sue Eckart in Kansas City, MO.

Curt worked in the lumber business for decades and was known by many. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and native artifact hunting. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan.

Curt is survived by his children: Travis Hymer of Kearney, MO; Tara Supernaw (Derrick) of Livingston TX; Tyler Hymer of Waxahachie, TX; and Tell Hymer ( Jenny) of Neosho, MO. Curt is also survived by his grandchildren: Tristan Hymer, Drew Supernaw, Gavin Supernaw, Alabaster Hymer, Shaw Hymer, Silas Hymer, Anna Keesen, Julia Keesen, and Evan Hymer. His sisters, Dulcy Silverthorn, Dana Saylor, and Paula Fawcett also survive him.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Frike.
