(From Clark Funeral Home)Shirley Jean Ball of Granby, Missouri, passed away on July 10, 2025, after a long illness. She was born on October 10, 1933, in Saratoga, Iowa, to Ralph and Elsie (Cooper) McFarlane.
Shirley worked hard throughout her life at several local companies including Granby Garment Factory, Teledyne in Neosho, Buddy L, and Talbot Wire. She was a devoted member of Silver Moon Full Gospel Church, where her faith remained a guiding light in her life.
On September 27, 1952, she married Don Edward Ball, and together they built a loving family. Shirley found great joy in watching her grandchildren grow up, attending sporting events, and spending cherished time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Peggy Keeling of Neosho, MO; Ronnie (LeeAnn) Ball of Granby, MO; and Don Edward (Karla) Ball Jr. of Butler, MO. She is also survived by her sister, Eileen Ball of Granby, MO; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and one on the way in November.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Ball; her parents; her siblings Eloise, Gerald, Laurel, Don, Arnold, and Irving; and her great- great grandson, Riggin Coy.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., both at Clark Funeral Home – Granby Chapel. Pastor Phil Barber will officiate. Burial will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rob Ball, Micky Ball, Jamie Ball, Brandon Keeling, Wyatt Gorman, and Tucker Gorman.
