It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of RJ Holland on August 18, 2025, at North Ark Regional Medical Center at the age of 71. Born on June 24th, 1954, in Neosho, Missouri to James and Oma Mae (Smith) Holland.

RJ was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his love of life, sense of humor, swapping and trading and his love for his family.

He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and had 36 years in maintenance for Tyson Foods at Berryville, AR.

RJ is survived by his wife Kathy of the home. His daughter Stephanie Holland and her partner Jeff of Reeds Spring, Mo, his stepsons Brian Duncan and wife Carissa of Jasper, AR, Ronald J. Duncan and partner Brittney of Berryville, Ar., Michael Duncan and wife Danielle of Berryville, five wonderful grandchildren, his sister Janice Coberly of Jane, Mo., as well as many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father James W. Holland, his mother Oma Mae (Smith) Holland, his brother Ronald (Rex) Holland, and his brother Glenn Holland.

RJ will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, August 25, 2025, at Gobbler Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hugerston, MD 21741.
