Becki Lynn Reed, passed away September 19, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. Known affectionately as Berki Sue or Bird to her closest friends and family. 

Born on the 29th of March, 1972 in Joplin, Missouri, Becki was an extraordinary woman known for her loyalty, generosity, wit, and boundless love. She was the embodiment of the quote, "Family is not an important thing, it's everything," as family mattered most to her. Becki was a loving sister to Terri Brownell and a devoted mother to her children Branden (Tiffany) Reed, Jonathan Reed and Megan Jordan-Reed. Becki was a loving grandmother to Dahlia, Conner and Willow. She is preceded in death by her father, William Townsend, and her spouse, Jeffrey Reed.

In 2019, Becki was finally able to ring the bell at Mercy after a hard fought 8 years battling cancer.

Becki was a woman of many talents and passions. She held a degree in Cosmetology and spent much of her life working in housekeeping for the Marriott Hotel. Becki was also a passionate collector of DVDs, an enthusiast of arts and crafts, and had a unique sense of fashion. Music was her outlet and she was particularly fond of the modern rock artist, Yungblud. Her life was a soundtrack of laughter, love, and melodies. Becki's unique qualities, accomplishments, and her generous spirit have left an indelible mark on those lucky enough to have known her.
