Tony Reavis

Tony Reavis, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. A quiet and steady presence, Tony lived his life with humility and deep love, always going to great lengths to care for those he cherished.

Beyond his devotion to family, Tony found joy in his lifelong love of cars. Whether working under the hood, admiring a classic, or sharing stories of his favorite rides, he lit up when talking about engines and wheels. His passion reflected the same qualities that defined his life—patience, dedication, and an eye for detail.








He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and the countless quiet acts of kindness that spoke louder than words. His family was his greatest pride, and his memory will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to know him.

Tony is survived by his spouse Linda Reavis, his children Misty Edward of Neosho, MO (Jimmy), Abigail Reavis of Tulsa, OK, Talisha Reavis of Joplin, MO, Hope Reavis of Grove, OK, Jennifer Reavis of Joplin, MO and Anthony Reavis of Joplin, MO, his grandchildren, Lynsey Roberts of Houston, TX (Garrett), Maddie Fichtner of Kansas City, MO (Cable), Linden Linthicum, Tristen Smith, Bonnie Smith, Shelby Ibarra (Brandon), Shaya Edwards, and four additional; grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is survived by his special little buddy and helper Jackson Roberts. Tony is also survived by his brother Gerald Tillman and many extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Susan Marie Hill Ritter, his father Chester Reavis, his twin brother Tommy Reavis, brother Eddie Reavis, sister Betty Reavis Piper, brother Kenny Reavis and brother George Tillman.








Services will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at Parker Mortuary, 1502 S. Joplin Ave., Joplin, MO. Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. There will be not graveside services per Tony's wishes. In keeping with Tony’s wishes, all who attend are invited to wear bright colors to celebrate the warmth, joy, and light he brought into the world. The services are open to anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects.

Funeral arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, MO.
