Daniel Salgado

Daniel Salgado, age 31 of Joplin passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home in Joplin.

Daniel was born June 7, 1994, the son of Gil and Michele (Kauffman) Salgado.

Daniel leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory, his parents, Gil and Michele Salgado of Joplin, four brothers, Sam Salgado and Amanda of Joplin, Alex Salgado and Chloe of New York, Peter Salgado of Joplin and Gil Raymond Salgado of Joplin. He also is survived by his service dog Button and also a host of family and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Angel Salgado.




Daniel was a caring and selfless individual who always wanted to help others and through his help he shaped a number of lives throughout his community. There is no greater feeling in the world than when someone could walk into a room and put a smile on someone’s face, and that is exactly what Daniel could do every time he walked in.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life to honor Daniel on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. at The Mollie Venue & Retreat located at 513 S. Main Street in Galena, KS. Daniel wanted anyone around him to feel comfortable and to always be themselves, so everyone is invited to attend and to also come casual as yourself, just as Daniel would’ve wanted.
