Kimberly Jo Wendt, 51, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on October 14, 2025 in Joplin, Missouri.

Kimberly was born on April 18, 1974, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Mickey Joe Tomlinson and Donna Wood. After graduating high school, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree and worked helping others as a Certified Nursing Assistant in home health care.

On July 13, 2018, she married Michael Dale Wendt in Miami, Oklahoma. Michael survives, along with her two beloved daughters, Kylee Huegel of Puxico, Missouri, and Kirsten Huegel of Neosho, Missouri.

Kimberly had a warm spirit and a fun-loving heart. She enjoyed playing Monopoly and spending time at the casino, always ready with a smile.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Donna, and her sister, Jennifer Cunningham.

A memorial graveside service will be held at the Neosho IOOF Cemetery at a later date.

Kimberly’s memory will live on through the love of her family and the many lives she touched.
