(From Ozark Funeral Home)Richard Wilson Brodie, 62 of Anderson, Missouri, was called to Heaven on Saturday, October 12, 2025 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.
He was born on December 18, 1962 in Monett, Missouri, born to the late, Wilson and Ilah (Cole) Brodie. Richard was born with Cerebral Palsy and always held his head up high and did the best he could every day. He was a resident at the McDonald County Living Center for 21 years, where he received loving care and affection from all of the staff. He was a good Christian and always wanted prayers. Richard knew when people died, they went to Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Erica Smith.
Richard is survived by his loving family, Sister, Carolyn Booth and brother David Brodie and wife, Paula all of Goodman, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lantz, Stephanie Boothe, Destri Thomas, Ian Thomas, Lakyn Boothe, Kynslee Boothe, Trenton Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Shayla Boothe, Caleb Thomas and Devan Laughlin, who will dearly miss Richard.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday at the Mayfield Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri, with Pastor Mark Sumler officiating. Those honoring Richard’s life by serving as pallbearers are Trenton Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Devin Laughlin and David Boothe.
