(From White Funeral Home)Roe Neal Strickland, 78, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on July 22, 1947, in Winnfield, Louisiana, to Orville and Mary “Rolene” (Spikes) Strickland.
On June 27, 1968, Roe married the love of his life, Linda Boswell, in Mansfield, Louisiana. Together they shared 57 years of devotion, building a home filled with love, laughter, and faith on their beloved Roe-lin Hills Farm.
Roe was a man of many gifts. He was a Master Gardener with an extraordinary green thumb, a skilled beekeeper, butcher, and winemaker, and a fabulous Southern cook whose meals brought people together. He loved fishing on Table Rock Lake, working the land, and sharing the fruits of his labor at local farmers markets. His life reflected a deep respect for nature and the joy of simple living.
Above all, Roe was devoted to his family. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took pride in teaching them the values of hard work, kindness, and love. His legacy will live on in their hearts and in the countless memories made together.
Roe is survived by his loving wife, Linda; three sons, Leslie Strickland of Gloster, Louisiana, Bryan Strickland and wife Jennifer of Elkins, Arkansas, and Michael Strickland of Carthage, Texas; five grandchildren, Kaylee, Seth, Jackson, Jacob, and Lewis; one great-grandchild, Brantley; one brother, Kelly Strickland of Bethany, Louisiana; and one sister, Ruby Allen of Tioga, Louisiana.

Roe will be remembered for his warmth, his talents, and his unwavering love for his family and community.
Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
