(From Clark Funeral Home)Winona “Wynn” Lucille Selig, 99, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1926, in Sidney, Montana, to Roy Jay Eberhart and Lida Dorine Corbin Eberhart.
Wynn lived a full and joyful life. She loved music, singing, and dancing, and had a special way of lighting up any room. She was a magnet for small children and animals, drawn to her kind and gentle spirit. Most of all, she cherished time with her family.
She began her career working in clerical jobs. As a young mother, with two children, she earned a private pilot’s license and flew taildraggers. She obtained her pilot's license before she got her driver’s license.
She earned a degree in music while raising three children at home - a testament to both her talent and determination. After obtaining her teaching degree, she went on to teach in both Newton and McDonald Counties. She also worked for many years as a dedicated AVON Representative.
Wynn loved the Lord deeply. Her faith led her on several mission trips across the United States, as well as to China and Russia, where she shared her love and service with others.
She is survived by her children: Mike (Carrie) Shaheen of Virginia Beach; Bev Duncan of Bluffton, SC; Patty Clark of Urbandale, Iowa; Dorene (Wally) Fridy of Greenville, SC; and Larry (Jeannine) Selig of Neosho, MO. She is also lovingly remembered by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wynn was preceded in death by her first husband, George Shaheen, and her second husband, Lyman Selig; her brothers, Dale and Roy Eberhart; and her parents, Roy and Dorine Eberhart.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the same location.
Wynn will be remembered for her boundless love, joyful heart, unwavering faith, and the countless lives she touched along the way.
