Anita Hamilton

Anita Carol Hamilton of Princeton, TX passed away on October 26, 2025 after a 7-year fight against breast cancer. Born on April 3, 1956 in Joplin, MO, Anita was the daughter of Teddy Lee Bilke and Helen Lillian Bilke. 

Anita married the love of her life, James (Jim) Hamilton on May 21, 1976, and shortly after they began their journey together in Dallas, TX. Jim and Anita eventually settled in Plano, TX where they raised their two children, Andrew and Kelly. 






Anita began her career at Baylor University Medical Center and Baylor Hospital of Garland, TX, and later joined Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX where she served for 16 years until her retirement in 2019. Her work ethic, intelligence, and leadership left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the institutions she served. 

Anita was a deeply loving mother, grandmother, and pet mom who cherished her family and friends. She was thoughtful, always recognizing the needs of others and offering help. She faced cancer with extraordinary courage and grace, never complaining - fighting and winning the battle but ultimately not the war. 








he is survived by her husband James Hamilton of Princeton, TX; son Andrew Hamilton and wife Terri of Allen, TX; daughter Kelly Hamilton of Princeton, TX; grandson James Nathaniel Hamilton and granddaughter Creda Lee Hamilton of Allen, TX; brother Ted Bilke and wife Luanne of Houston, TX; brother Darrel Bilke of Broken Arrow, OK; niece Ashley Bilke of Kansas City, MO and nephew Sean Bilke of Broken Arrow, OK; nephews Matthew Bilke of Houston TX and Clayton Bilke and wife Erika of Kansas City, MO; and many more loving family members and friends.
