Bob Crutcher

(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)

Bob E. Crutcher, of Lamar, MO, a devoted Christian and beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, departed this life on December 16, 2025 at the age of 88.

Bob was born on April 23, 1937, to Buster Crutcher and Oletha Crutcher Jennings in Arcola, Missouri. He grew up in the Arcola and Greenfield area, where he spent much of his life and graduated from Greenfield High School.

Bob was later drafted into the Army and went on to live a life full of hard work and memorable adventures. He partnered in dairy farming with his late brother, Bill Crutcher, worked for the railroad in Kansas City at Union Station long enough to retain retirement, and later also went on to retire from O’Sullivan Industries. Bob eventually made his home in Lamar, Missouri.

Above all else, Bob loved the Lord and his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. He was the proud father of one son, Brian Crutcher. He leaves behind two grandchildren: Courtney (Justin) Albers-Milstead and Caleb Crutcher (Carol Bean); seven great-grandchildren: Isabelle (Gage), Xaiver (Scarlet), Isaiah, Reese, Brynlee, Gannon, and Emalynn; and one great-great-granddaughter, Amelia, who he had only recently welcomed into the family.

Bob also had a passion for drag racing, motorcycles, and the outdoors. Known for his sharp wit and quick humor, he was always ready with a story and a smile, leaving lasting memories with all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster Crutcher and Oletha Crutcher Jennings; his brother, Bill Crutcher; and his sister-in-law, Donna Crutcher.

Bob’s faith, love for family, and joyful spirit will be remembered and treasured by all who were blessed to know him.
