Donna Price

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Donna Price passed away at the young age of 68 at Granby House in Granby, MO on December 14, 2025 after fighting a long battle of kidney disease. She was born in August 22,1957 in Fairland, OK to Walter and Stella Farmer.

Donna was a 1975 graduate of McDonald County High School. After high school she continued working at the family supermarket, G&W Foods in Noel, MO after high school filling the roles of cashier and eventually secretary until the store sold to Harp’s in 1997. She went to work as a cook at Jose O’Malley’s in Noel and later worked at local convenient stores until retirement in 2009.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Shayna Gibson (Jimmy) of Noel, MO; one brother Eddie Farmer (wife Debbie) of Joplin, MO; two sisters, Joyce Gonzalez (husband Jose) of Southwest City, MO and Rhonda Mitchell ( husband Ronnie) of Oologah, OK and one grandson, Gage Migill of Grove, OK. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joel Farmer; her parents, Walter and Stella Farmer and her brother Ricky Farmer.

Donna enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. She had a strong “green thumb” as she could grow the largest tomato plants and elephant ears. She enjoyed visiting her daughter and son-in-laws ranch and spending time with the family dog Tip. Spending time with family was important to her.

Donna was the most positive and happy individual and wanted the same for everyone around her. She knew how to talk to people to make their day better than it started.

A graveside service at Sparlin Cemetery in Racine, MO will be held at a later time.
