Micki Spicer

(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)

Marshele “Micki” Spicer (Freund), age 71, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Neosho, Missouri. She was born on December 26, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, but soon became a lifelong Neosho resident.

Micki married her high-school sweetheart, Steve Spicer, on September 1, 1978. She was deeply devoted to him, and together, they had three children.

She was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she found great purpose, comfort, and community.

Micki had a special love for strays; over the years she provided a loving home to dozens of neglected and wandering dogs that showed up on her doorstep.

While she was certainly more defined by her faith and family, Micki was instrumental in the development and execution of several area businesses.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Spicer, and her mother, Coralee Freund.

Micki is survived by her daughters, Nina Moser (Jared) and Jillian Farnsworth (Paul); her son, Stephen Spicer II (Jessica); her father, Henry Freund; her brothers, Mark Freund (Brenda) and Brian Freund; her sister, Rebecca Freund (Sherry); and 11 grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Neosho. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery.

Micki’s whole life and person was dedicated to those she loved. She will always be remembered for that deep love for family, her steady faith, and the quiet strength and grace with which she lived her life.
