Darrel Roberts

Darrel L. Roberts age 75 , of Joplin passed away Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 at Freeman Neosho.

A native of Estherville, Ia., he was the son of L. R. and Leola (Mullock) Roberts . He married Judith Zimmerman on December 7, 1962. Darrel moved to the Joplin area in 1990 and he worked for the Cardinal Scale company in Webb City until 1997. He was a member of the Christadelphian Ecclesia. Darrell enjoyed golfing, furniture making and woodworking, painting, hunting, fishing and bee keeping.

Survivors include His wife, Judith of the home, one son Tim Roberts of Silom Springs, Ar., two daughters, Deborah Ramos and Nancy Ellis and her husband Joe all of Joplin. A sister Linda Rae of Nashville, Ga. Four grandchildren, Sarah Parrish, Jessica Frazier, MaKayla and Joseph Roberts. Six great grandchildren, Chloe, Madelyn, Ayden, Carlos, Kevyn and Macey.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 am to 10:15 am at the Mortuary. Graveside Services will be held Friday, November 28th, 2014 at 11:00 am in Dice Cemetery at Fairview , Missouri.
