Mr. Steven Eugene Cox, 51, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at his residence, after a brief illness.

Steven entered this life on February 21, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Sammy and Loretta (Gabbard) Cox. At the age of thirteen he moved with his family to McDonald County Missouri, where he has resided ever since. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and caring for his animals.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter, Brandy Cox.

Steven is survived by three sons, Randy Cox of Little Rock, Arkansas, Matthew Cox of Jane, Missouri and Brandon Gibson also of Jane; seven grandchildren; his father, Sammy Cox of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Sharon Echols of Rogers, Arkansas, Carol Taylor of Avoca, Arkansas and Nancy Campos of Springdale, Arkansas; as well as a host of other family.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Avoca, Arkansas.
