Lynna Lavern Pennington, 76 of Lamar, MO passed away August 3, 2016 at Truman Healthcare, Lamar, MO..
She was born March 11, 1940 in Las Vegas, Nevada to LaVern and Opal (Parker) Bishop. Lynna worked as a production worker for Carthage Poultry Co. and O'Sullivan Industries.She also drove a bus for the Jasper Schools for a number of years. She was a member of the Blake Baptist Church.
Lynna was united in marriage to Joseph W. Pennington on March 27, 1956 in Carthage, MO.. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Joseph L. (Lynn) Pennington, James (Carol) Pennington and Scott (Sherry) Pennington.Three daughters, Pat Pennington, Kristy (Scott) Roehrs and Cindy (Dustin) Crockett. Twenty grandchildren, and Nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son in-law, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and a great grandson.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvey Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Fiday, August 5 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery.
